Where the Rubber Meets the Runway: Building Talent Through Community College Partnerships
Join the CLT Alliance Manufacturing Council in Stanly County for a morning of practical conversation and a behind-the-scenes look at one of the region's most unique manufacturing operations. Michelin's Norwood facility is one of only three plants worldwide where the company produces aircraft tires.
The morning opens with a panel on how manufacturers of every size can build strong partnerships with their local community colleges to recruit, train, and retain talent. Panelists will share how to get started, what programs are available, and what makes these partnerships last. Afterward, attendees will tour the Michelin facility.
