Workforce remains manufacturing's most pressing challenge in the Charlotte Region.  The 2026 CLT Alliance Manufacturing Survey found that 62.7% of regional manufacturers currently have unfilled positions.  Wages are climbing, but skilled talent is still hard to come by.
