2023 Annual Outlook and Tate Awards: A Celebration of Excellence in Business
For questions or to register for this event, please email Ashley Hedrick.
The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance® will host the premier economic forecast event in the region followed immediately by a new celebration of business leaders and collective success. From Fortune 500 CEOs to stand-out startups and entrepreneurs, the community will come together for dual events celebrating excellence in business. In even grander fashion this year, the regional business community’s signature event will be followed by the biggest community and leader celebration, The Tate Awards. This award celebration will support entrepreneurs and small businesses around the region.
The innovative business minds of Brian Moynihan, Chair of the Board and CEO of Bank of America; and Marvin Ellison, chairman, president, and CEO of Lowe’s, will lend their insight and expertise, providing the preeminent economic forecast in the region, and highlighting their personal and professional commitment to ensuring businesses of all sizes flourish across the region. And, for something different, attendees will hear from these CEO powerhouses during a live recording of the “3 Things with Ric Elias” podcast.

The inaugural Tate Awards will recognize excellence in business leadership and highlight the accomplishments of outstanding change agents, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes in the Charlotte Region. The ceremony will honor the 2023 Citizen of the Carolinas Mike Lamach. This award is the organization’s most prestigious award, given to a Carolinian who has made great strides for our region and our nation. The Tate Awards will also honor individuals in Community Impact, Legacy Leaders, and Tech & Innovation.
